The swimming pool complex is located on the Funchal city and is considered by experts as one of the best, modern and sophisticated in the country. Has four pools: one Olympic (50x10lines), one of jumps, one with 25 feet and a learning tank.

Pure swimming, also known as sport swimming, is the practice of pool swimming in competition, involving the four basic styles: crawl, breaststroke, backstroke and butterfly. It is included in water sports and has been part of the modern Olympic Games since its inception in 1896.
Synchronized swimming is a hybrid sport, which includes concepts of swimming, gymnastics, and dance, consisting of swimmers (individuals, duets, trios, teams or combos) to perform a synchronized routine of elaborate and dramatic movements in the water, accompanied by a song.
